I let them go, ‘cos they meant nothing to me
And now they’re dying inside.
I have to face each one almost every single day
to keep them out of their minds
Trying, dying, lying’s so hard
But I think I’ve got what it takes
To pin just what I like upon your pretty little chest
and never ever look back

Why is there a fallout?
And where does it go?
And what makes you so happy
When everything you’ve got has just been left on your pillow

Say 'No' to Sports

I’ve got a penis and a plan
You’ve got the terror of old friends
You’ve got this chip right on your shoulder
And you do not have a clue

And you my friend are hell
But you can’t take my complacency

Then there’s the terror that there’s no heaven
And I’ll be bored in the afterlife too
And I’m just waiting for someone to come along
and take my head off, take my head
If you’re not with us you’re against us

I’ve got a penis and a plan
You’ve got the terror of old friends
You’ve got this chip right on your shoulder
And you do not have a clue
When I’m away and you’re the doctor
Will you come and see me
When I’m away and you’re the doctor
Will you take my head off

Marmite Walk

“I got a feeling that something was wrong”
he said, waiting for something to happen
“I got a feeling, you know? Just a feeling, you know?”
no-one knew

could put a gun to my head
still won’t remember a thing
could put a gun to my head
still won’t remember though
lights out
that’s three nights in row
lights out
still won’t remember though

phats

waiting around this crisp cool morning
this crisp cool
white alcohol
freezing my balls off in this cold cold cold
I want more more more
Alcohol

I can’t wait until the wonder’s here
I cannot wait until the wonder

Show Me A Style

This city is the Les Dennis of this country
This country is the Russ Abbot of my fears
Who’s my pal, who’s my pal Ricky? Who’s my pal?
Then it was over so I said maybe I should leave
Turn me on, turn me off again
I’m gonna shuffle when I’m suffering
You think you’re angry now, well you’re wrong
I want to stick like glue, so show me a style

I’m praying for to give some things some worth
I’m screaming like a fool trying to make words work
I’m looking for a way like it’s made of gold
I wanna stick like glue, show me a style

significock

took me a while to see that everything in my life
has nothing got to do with my reality
we’re pushed and shoved and pushed
until we’re afraid of something that’s
nothing got to do with my reality

And that don’t sit well with my life

Took me a while to see that everything in my life
Infringes in some way upon my liberty
We’re puppies, filled with beans
And then housetrained for living
Then kissed with bad intentions into reality

And that don’t sit well with my life

Tell me what to think, because I can’t
(lies, lies, we’re addicted to lies)

The Kid with the Really Old Face

I’ve got bruised gums for you
I’ve got notches in my mind for you
I’ve got…why are you trying to make feel for you?
I’ve got a million ways to be tired of you

I’ve got bruised gums for you
I’ve got notches in my mind for you
I’ve got…why are you trying to make feel for you?
I’ve got half a mind to be tired of you

I’ve got caverns in my bones for you
I’ve got weasels in my throat for you
Yeah…like you know what you want

Me and My Powerful Dad

Yeah, it’s right and it’s perfectly ok
It’s almost funny
You see I gotta get off where I am
Where I am is almost funny
And you’re leaking and you’re leaking
And you don’t know where you stand and so you’re running
And I’m living and you’re dying and you’re living
Don’t you ever replace me

Dignified misanthrope standing by
Waiting to fire
On anyone who can talk for themselves
They must be admired…

Smell of fanny off my fingers
But I haven’t cum in weeks
But look at you
I’m way past that whole caring stage
I’m trying to get away
But look at you
Me and my dad, we’re gonna come along
We’re gonna get you
Interpolate, negotiate, navigate that interface
We’ll fuckin get you

Darko Filopovic

At the second guess I wondered why
You enjoyed not knowing a thing about me
So I pulled your head away from the light
And I didn’t bother
I could buy you all just to give you some worth
You said you’d been thinking so I asked did it hurt
Your words are not honest, they’re spoken by a fool
So whore my life away

What I couldn’t say
You said
When your lips turned grey
I saw red
At the second guess
I saw fright and creeping cold
What I couldn’t say

Where did ye come from anyways?

Right, this is the story. Steve was in a band called tooth. There was nothing happening there, so Steve played a few solo gigs with a few pedals, amps and noises. Keith thought that was alright. Steve mentioned to Keith one time after a gig that a drummer would be nice, as he felt that there was something missing. Keith liked the cut of his jib, and suggested that maybe he himself should be the one to play drums. Steve said ok, having only seen Keith play drums once or twice, but had seen him play guitar with Calzino Fiasco a million times. Steve thought “well, if he plays drums the way he plays guitar, this might be fairly cool”

They practiced.

They played their first gig with Icarus Line in 2002. Steve played about 4/5 song solo, and Keith joined in halfway through for about another 4 songs. People didn’t know what to do or where to look. There was wailing and gnashing of teeth. Some people were seen nodding and tapping their feet furiously. Others shook their heads and wept. That was their first gig.

They’ve played loads more now, with bands like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Electric Eel Shock, Rocket From the Crypt, The Poke, Soledad Brothers, The Owls and some more that can’t be remembered. They found time to record 10 songs with Mark “O” O Connor. They called this collection of songs “Is It ok to Be loud, Jesus?”
