Welcome members new and old,

For those of you just joining the club I'd like to welcome you all and for the rest of you who knows the craic, welcome back.

For those of you who aren't aware training commences at 2 o'clock every Wednesday and Friday on the astro-turf beside Kilmurry Village. Attendance is not compulsory but we would like to see everyone down there as it will be both beneficial to the club as a whole and you personally. All gear is supplied so just bring yourself. Also training is the best place to find out about what social excursions will be taking place over the coming week. New members are always welcome, so if your mates want to come down and have a look bring them along.

The first inter-varsity competition is scheduled to be held on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of November in Waterford. We plan to leave on the Friday evening and return sometime Sunday. All accommodation and transport will be provided by yours truly. More information will be issued in the coming weeks. As I'm sure all the returning members will testify to, these weekends are great fun with stories that come home on the bus with some people wishing they went no further. Further dates will be posted later in the year for the Dublin and Limerick legs.
