Up

The Grand Pavilion

This is enjoying our first crate of beers on day two of the Roskilde rock festival...we were squatting under a pavilion that some very organised swedes had put up next to our little cluster of tents

Andy

This is Andy the scots git, demonstrating that he had been captured and tagged by a group of passing scientists interested in the rock festival Kulture

Becks

This is during Beck's concert...a bunch of balloon's flew over head much to the annoyance of petulant little Beck. He was shite!

Freeze-O-matic 2005

Caolán and I are demonstrating our latest invention...the freeze-o-matic 2005...a device for cooling beer. It's construction required lots of duct tape and bin bags! It was very effective!

Darkness

Caolan, Me, Mel and Fiona in the hours of darkness

Darkness 2

Us, drinking Carlsberg (the OFFICIAL roskilde beer, and only 5 times more expensive than any other danish brand), with some egyptian-scottish dancer in the background

Eehm, Tool

I'm pretty sure this is Tool playing on the Orange stage (the biggest one). Judging from the precarious angle, it was taken by Louise from the vantage point of my shoulders...

Fiona and Lou

Blonde and blue-eyed Louise getting back to her viking roots

'Train' station

One of our daily trips into the actual town of Roskilde to pick up more food and beer, and to take a discrete shower and warm shave in the toilets of some cafe!

Kway and Lou

It only rained for one night while we were there, so everyone crammed into me and Mel's tent to drink foul concoctions and warm beer! Yum!

Orange stage

Dunno who was playing here when I took the pic...check out the huge tripod mounted speakers! Orange stage had room for 80,000 people...

Sunshine!

Kway and Lou, deep in the crowd at orange stage...to their right is the sound and lighting thingie

De ladz

Check out the flag-pole thingies...there were loads of people with them, and several people with huge Irish tri-colours!

Our little metropolis

This is in the center of our little world, surrounded by our tents. We had stocked up on water pistols at this stage and were experimenting with vodka pistols...not to be reccomended

Hungover gang

Seeing as we were getting to bed at 6am and getting up again at 9am every day, we tended to spend the afternoons running, swimming and cycling

Lou

This was just after she said 'Yeah, i'm just going to the tent to get my shoes', and collapsed there and refused to move...
