'The Elite Student Internship Programme'(ESIP)

The Lucent Science Teacher Centre coordinated and administered the ‘Elite Student Internship Programme’ (ESIP) at the University of Limerick, for July and August 2004.

Internships were offered to elite students from surrounding local secondary schools. Each internship involved the pupil working in a research environment under the overall supervision of an academic researcher, for a period of 3 weeks during the summer.
