1 Name the X (horizontal) values

Name the Y (vertical) values

Copy a block (rows & columns) from your spreadsheet or other data source and paste it into the textbox on the right to generate the Height (Z) data.

2 Name the Z values

You can optionally enter a function f(Z) that will alter Z.
The variables X & Y may be used as well as '+,-,/,*,sin,cos,tan,exp,root,ln' and of course numbers. See the complete list of operators.

SCALE

The default Scale options allow you to generate a 'square' VRML file will probably look better. The No Scaling option for Z is useful if comparing two VRML files side by side as regards height. NB You may then have to manually adjust X & Y scaling to make the resulting data look better.

DISPLAY

The colour options colours data according to height. Display values as text will include the values as ASCII text nodes beside the axis. Text is for debugging or for VRML clients that cannot save data. The Axis types affect how the axis are positioned.
