Apple Macintosh

I used Macs extensively while working at Multimedia Technologies Ireland last summer ('94). I digitised video for use in a Multimedia Point of Information system developed for a Large country park in Southern Ireland. It consists of several AV Macs with 17" Touchscreens running Macromind Director displaying interactive information about the country park. Some of its high quality features include:

• Quicktime Movies
• 16 bit color
• CD quality Music with simultaneous voiceovers in 3 languages.

Another AV Mac was used to give a 20 minute long presention about the Park via a projection screen, including automatically dimming the lights before it started the presentation and turning them on again afterward.
