Indeo Video

I have used Indeo DVI (hardware) boards in PCs and have digitised video from hi8 and SVHS sources. The version on Indeo we were using was R2 and was therefore not very impressive, and we found it very hard to maintain sync with the audio.

I found MPEG and Quicktime to give much better performance and quality.
