Blistered, which was written, directed and primarily performed by Mr David Bromley and his company Telling Tales Teatre Company, tells the story of a teenager at school in London, and his descent into the world of gang violence. This show was performed in March 2002 in Powerhouse One Showcase Theatre in Wakefield. I worked on this show as a result of my involvement with Shadows of Substance previously. This performance
was a re-working of the original piece, in order to allow design concepts
to be developed in conjunction with the script. It included abstracted
lighting and sound designs from myself and Ms Stacey Holmes to help
convey the emotional background to the piece.
