The hurlers, heading for a comfortable victory in the West B final, were suprised by a late Askeaton rally, and were held  to a 2-07 to 3-04 draw. Not for the first time this year, David Hurley was outstanding while James Hennessy at full back had a fine game. The replay has not been fixed, but both teams take part in the County Championship Quarter finals at the weekend, though the qualifying monarchy is not known at the time of writing. However, we are hopeful of advancing.
