An epic horse ride all round Ireland!

Round Ireland for Bóthar

A trek around Ireland on horseback, starting from Limerick on June 7, is how Limerickman Eoin Shaw and his German girlfriend Kathrin Döhner plan to raise cash for Bóthar charity. They expect to ride some 1,200 miles on their clockwise tour, picking up unique experiences of our island as they go, while in the process helping Bóthar to send more cows and goats to needy African families.

Bóthar provides poverty-stricken families in Developing Countries with the means to solve their problems permanently. They do this by giving the family an Irish dairy cow or goat together with the training and support which enables them to look after the animal. Bóthar has been working with great success in Ireland for the past ten years.
