Welcome to Jardín Gaia (hard-een guy-uh, or Earth Garden), Costa
Rica's first Official Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center.
Jardín Gaia is currently filled with over 275 confiscated animals
and birds. We're a team of environmentalists, veterinarians, and
volunteers dedicated primarily to rescuing and returning native endangered
wildlife, illegally orphaned or confiscated, to their natural environment.
The project relies on grants and donations from the public, and the
commitment of the volunteers who work there. We invite you to roam through
our site, learn about our mission, goals and projects -- and ways you can
help make a good thing better.
