In June 1999 he completed the University of Limerick's B.Sc. degree in Computer Systems. After a year working with ADC Telecommunications as an Oracle PL/SQL developer in Toronto & Galway 9509658 decided to try something different and more creative. Therefore, in September 2000, he returned to college to study a Masters Degree in Interactive Media.

However, by the time he completed his degree in 2001 the New Media Revolution was over. The post .com crash had taken hold and the once boyant area of multimedia was now an employment wasteland. As a result, 9509658 is back working in the more traditional areas of IT. He now works as a Progress database developer for United Drug Plc.
