This is the Website of the UL Folk Group - just in case you haven't noticed...

By now you are probably wondering who we are and what we do, either that or you're in the wrong place!

We are a bunch of lunatics who enjoy the odd pint and swims in the sea at 4 in the morning. Contrary to what one would expect, members need not be good at singing, but should bring with them a resistance to the weekly challenge that is singing Mass for the unwashed masses (student population) of UL.

A further necessity would be the ability to bear the incredibly bad playing of instruments of all kinds in no other key than R. A minimum of 8 pints (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) must be be drunk during the initiation ceremony which will takes place every October in Spanish Point.

Now, if that hasn't tickled your fancy, you may leave by the back door, but if, perchance, it has, have a look at the rest of the site, and let us know what you think.
