From the Irish AE86 E-Group trackday August 2000 'Portlawn' was still driving it then. It was still a fine car then. I saw it some time later with its new owner, the car was in bad nick. Shell needed saving. Team DANCO IRL could have done the job, but It was sent elsewhere. Listen to the Blower Whine, OOOOHHHH YEAH!

Mondello Racetrack, Ireland, August 4th 2000. Irish AE86 E-Group Trackday. 52 entries, mostly AE86s. Terence's was the most highly tuned of them all. Richard Macer built engine, suspension, and Terence piloting behind the wheel! A great car to watch on the day! 

Mike Deanes Red Beemer drifts around Tipperary Raceway, Rosegreen at Irelands 1st ever drifting competition. 

Irelands first ever drift competition at Tipperary Raceway, near Rosegreen. Some night-spirit members came over to compete and boy did they put on a show! James was a real crowd pleaser. Watch on the last lap he pulls off "Choku-Dori?" drifting up the straight! 

KP60 Drifting at Irelands first drifting competition. Martin O'Meara. His driving says more than words. Excellent piloting of this green kp60. Sounds like its running a ford engine or something like that. SERIOUS CAR! 

Opel Omega Drifting at Irelands first drift competition at Tipperary Raceway near Rosegreen. Lots of entrants shouldnt have been let out on the track but there were two to three good Irish entrants so all was not lost. Team Night-Spirit (www.night-spirit.co.uk) some of whose members attended were great! Props to them! A good day all in all!

From Irelands first ever drift competition at Tipperary Raceway, near Rosegreen. this guy was crappy i think. He drove over tyres not caring a jot about the car. Only 2 things he got right were donuts and driving off the track. Car was in bits afterwards! 4WD donuts r cool though.

Cool "Inlet plenum" i think theyre called. A must for silvertop 20v conversions!

Still taken from a video we have at home. Its Japanese and shows a guy setting a car up for drifting. All basic stuff, suspension, diffs, ehxaust. Every so often he pointed to the 20v AE86 they had. Guess he was comparing the job on the 16v to the 20v?

Neat idea the way he has the water pipes bolted to the valence! Take some reference measurements and you could whip a set of yer own up! Find some rubber hose and voila!
Tidy looking too!
