Married - Really??

One of the bunch has gotten married and just to make the rest of us feel old before our time it was Philip - the youngest one of us. Philip what were you thinking dude? I mean you are married. Ahh no but seriously on the 16th of September 2006 Philip Mackessy got married to one of the nicest girls I have ever met, Mary (Mackessy) McCormack. Seriously Philip couldn't have married a better woman (I suppose Mary I shouldn't call you a girl on account of you being married and all).

The wedding went really really well. Philip keeps giving out that the wedding before us delayed Mary's entry into the church by about half an hour. Aren't they lucky that, that was the worst thing that happened that day. The wedding took place out in Cratloe Church and it was beautiful. The reception after took place in Shannon in a beautiful little rustic hotel called Carrygerry Country House. They had booked out the whole hotel, with the rooms kept for their guests to stay the night (I suppose when you have it flaunt it - eh!).

As I said the whole day went very well. They Brides party and the Grooms party hadn't really met each other before but we all seem to get on like a house on fire. The Carrygerry Country House was full inside and out - really lucky it was a lovely dry evening/night - and the DJ who was very good kept people up dancing long after he had left.(You know by getting everybody in the mood) The wedding went on til the we hours of the morning and we were treated to breakfeast the next morning - how cool? We all wish them the very best and hope their life continues on as well as their life together started.

Website Launch

The launch of this new Website has to be done before it's finished. I am sorry there is so much of it under construction. It's just that with us all getting older and life moving on we no longer live in the same house so, inorder to get everyone to put up their 2cents I had to put the website up live with very little content. Please do check back regularly as the more you check back the quicker we will fill all the content into the website.
