[1] BAe Harrier GR.7 of the Royal Air Force (RAF). The world famous 'jump-jet' was present in strenght at Galway airport. This aircraft is operated by No. 4 Squadron. |
[2] The ever present work horse of the Irish Air Corps (IAC), the Aerospatiale SA 316B Alouette III. Delivered in 1971, this is one of the eight aircraft which were delivered to the IAC since 1963, all giving sterling, safe service over those 41 years. |
