Photo's taken during my return visit to Budapest with accompanied by Heno to visit Hogan!  They shall remain annonymous other than that.  Hello lads!  Went there for a very short weekend of R & R back in June 2005. Szabadság szobor (The Liberation Monumont) on the southern extremity of Gellért-hegy.  Raised in 1947 by the Communist Authorities to celebrate their 'deliverance' of the city from Nazi tyranny.  The monument was 'modified' by the government in the 1990's to remove some of the Soviet conections.

Szabadság hid, (Liberty Bridge) bringing us back to the begining of the journey at the foot of Gellért-hegy.  Accomodation for the weekend was in the hotel at the far end of the bridge.
