Update

This is quite an old document, Broadway was a complete waste of time
to develop. I'm not sure what possessed the X Consortium to work on
it when the real problems of the age were 8 bit color management,
font support, possible printer rendering support etc. But no, the
utterly useless Broadway instead, sigh. So this is archival material
only, though still useful if you are doing something with broadway
for your sins.
