My name is John Daly.
I'm from Ennis, Co.Clare in the mid-west of Ireland. Ennis and Co. Clare are renowned worldwide for traditional Irish music with the Willie Clancy festival held in Miltown Malbay every summer and of course the famous Lisdoonvarna festival which is rumored to be making a much anticipated come back in the near future.
In 1997 Ennis won the Eircom Information Age Town competition which basically means that we got a whole bunch of cheap computers and the town got a lot of media coverage. The prize fund was £15 million to be spent on computers and computer based projects around the town. (Hurray for us!!!)
I went to college in the University of Limerick and finished this year with B.Sc. in Applied Maths and Computing.
I am currently working for

an American health care/insurance company
as an Associate Applications Developer
(COBOL programmer).
