Issue 4
Sunday - 11 Apr 2004

Dear Sir,

I have a very embarrassing problem. I seem to be addicted to public protests. It doesn't really matter what the issue of the day is, and whether or not it is a good thing, but I just can't stop the urge to get out there and protest. My shed is full of used banners and I'm convinced that the Gardai are just looking for an excuse to beat me. The pigs.

Yours fearfully,
- Lefty O'Green (19)

Lefty, Please don't worry as your ailment is quite common among youths of your age. At least you are admitting your angst is a problem. To combat this terrible affliction, I suggest that you welcome the leader of the free world, George W. Bush, to Ireland with a wonderful "Cead Mile Failte" banner.

Dear Sir,

I believe I am being hampered from leading a normal life because of my beliefs. I firmly believe that nobody should have to work on a Monday and that the normal working day should not begin before 11.30am. Consequently, I have been through about 30 odd jobs in the last 12 months, and I have not yet found a job which will fully accomodate me.

- Laye Z. B'Ones.

Laye, You are quite correct not to work in conditions which do not comply to your stead-fast beliefs. Just look at how Madonna gets critisized for her erratic concert arrangements. I suggest you get in contact with John G. He may be able to get you in the door of the civil service, and everything will be great in your life.
