Tough Times Ahead for Kinvara Drinkers

Regular Kinvara drinkers are facing major difficulties ahead in the funding of their, now, infamous benders. Certain Pubs in the area are proposing an increase of up to 5cent on the price of a pint and up to 4cent on the price of a short.

A reporter from The Fallon Times has yet to visit the area (he's in the pub), but early reports from local residents suggest that the mood is far from happy. One plucky punter, Caul Postelloe, called us up this week. He told us that he has seen life from both sides of the bar and he only wants what's fair for everyone. "I can see why publicans may want to increase the price of the pint. It's the world economy you see. When the stock markets crashed, more people went into bars to drown their sorrows. As we all know, once the number of people in a bar increases, so does the price of the drink." He also added, "Not that I give a damn. I work in a bar and all my drink is free".
